Aunt Dotty and Clifford 180627_191676827529474_100000614748260_554895_7965517_n

Giving honor to my Aunt Dotty who recently died. She was the daughter of Fred and Gertrude Jackman and the eighth child out of ten. Last time I saw Aunty Dotty was in April 1999 when Peter and I visited Newbury, MA. Sorry to see you go, Aunt Dotty! Hope to see you in heaven! Lord, please minister to the family during this sad time.

Mike and Kathy, friends from McEwen, TN graciously came to pick us up at Nashville International and gave us a warm welcome home. They are the parents of Chantel, a special friend we met at Cracker Barrel in Dickson, TN. Chantel is an excellent waitress. She will soon graduate from college with a business degree. She also competes and is an exceptional rider in the Tennessee Walking Horse Shows.

With only a ten minute lay-over at the BWI (Baltimore/Washington International Airport) our Group A boarding pass gave us a good seat selection. We sat over the engines which made for a smoother ride. At this point, we were only about 15 minutes out from Nashville.

This picture was taken about 1:30pm Thursday afternoon on August 2, 2007, just before Colby and Peter had to depart for the airport. Pastor Magezi and I are praising the Lord together.

The same week we arrived in NH, the Campbell's were also hosting another visitor, Pastor Magezi, who was visiting America from Tanzania, Africa through the Assemblies of God Church. He came to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to raise awareness of the financial and material needs of his local church. Although our main focus on this brief trip was to invest quality time with my brother, Peter and I were blessed to make contact with the Pastor and to fellowship with him in the Lord. He related information and pictures about his local church family. I also shared our Christian Faith Center NewsBulletin and some pictures from my recent participation with a 12-hour prayer and fasting meeting in Nashville, Tennessee called, "The Call". Pastor Magezi was especially interested in discussing about prayer and fasting. He read the article about prayer in the July-August NewsBulletin, which was transcribed from a message Pastor Norman taught at C.F.C. I believe this meeting was a divine appointment, primarily for us to keep he and his local church lifted up in prayer. Here Pastor Magezi is drinking tea at the breakfast table.

Carl and Colby saying goodnight and acting a bit goofy in front of the camera. Earlier this same day, Carl drove Peter and me around in the van to drop off gift bags, sent by my parents, to a few relatives in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. We enjoyed some quality time talking with Carl as he drove. It was fun watching him become more adjusted to all the new features in that van. He especially liked the cruise control because it enables easier handling for Carl. In 1996, while riding his bicycle he was hit by a car. He sustained injuries to his spinal cord which caused paralysis from the waist down. He also has some pain, numbness and loss of motor skills in his left hand. The cruise control assists him tremendously. Carl truly believes the Lord is going to raise him up out of the wheelchair. Peter and I are standing in agreement with him for complete restoration, in Jesus' name!

Carl ready to take a ride in his new 1995 Windstar. My parents, Carl and Freda Hudson, located and purchased the van in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The van only had 24,000 miles on the speedometer. It was in excellent shape. While traveling, we recorded the gas mileage at it's best on the highway at 21mpg. My Dad had originally planned on making this New England run to deliver the van to my brother; however, health problems prevented him from doing this. He asked Peter and I to make the transport. We were thankful to be able to help out. We praise Jesus for a completely safe journey! What an enjoyable trip with absolutely no problems. We took advantage of this opportunity to stop in and visit both of Peter's sisters, Pattie and Linda, and their families. Once we entered the Massachusetts Turnpike, we decided to take a side journey to Framingham, MA in order to locate a house that Peter used to live in when he was six years old. With the help of some friends at the CVS Pharmacy on HWY 9E who gave us directions, we did successfully locate the house.
