Operation: NEVT
Carl and Colby saying goodnight and acting a bit goofy in front of the camera. Earlier this same day, Carl drove Peter and me around in the van to drop off gift bags, sent by my parents, to a few relatives in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
We enjoyed some quality time talking with Carl as he drove. It was fun watching him become more adjusted to all the new features in that van. He especially liked the cruise control because it enables easier handling for Carl. In 1996, while riding his bicycle he was hit by a car. He sustained injuries to his spinal cord which caused paralysis from the waist down. He also has some pain, numbness and loss of motor skills in his left hand. The cruise control assists him tremendously.
Carl truly believes the Lord is going to raise him up out of the wheelchair. Peter and I are standing in agreement with him for complete restoration, in Jesus' name!
